Thank you for visiting the Republic Relations PR website.

After a long and varied career, first training as a radio journalist with the BBC, then working in-house for various PR and marketing consultancies, and finally becoming partner with an ethical PR company, I decided to set up Republic Relations.
I have always been amazed how much of a client's fee has to be spent on funding a full team that they may never use, and of course some very beautiful offices, in the countryside or in city centres. Having also built up a network of fabulous freelance colleagues I had a eureka moment! Set up a virtual PR agency using the skills of all those experts and thanks to minimal overheads, clients get senior professionals at an affordable rate. So here we are.

Our ethos is simple:
To deliver realistic, achievable and cost effective communication strategies for our clients large and small - and to have a few laughs along the way.

As well as managing Republic Relations PR in Manchester, I am also a Senior Lecturer in PR/marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University, I sing (badly) in a choir, I have recently become the proud owner of a static caravan (a coronavirus purchase), and I enjoy
a bottle of Chardonnay at the weekend. Pleased to meet you!
